Cairn II translates that stacked-stone form into a sculptural, articulated pendant. Cool turquoise and warm terracotta sandstone are arranged in contrasting layers, bringing together colors that feel drawn directly from the Western landscape.

Cairn II is part of the Cairn Collection, an evolving series inspired by these stone markers and what they represent: place, memory, direction, and return.

The Stones

The Craft

Each stone is held within an individually cut, formed, and textured brass setting. Radiating edges frame the natural contours of the stones, while hand-formed tabs secure them without drilling.

The two settings are linked vertically, allowing the pendant to move with the wearer while maintaining its stacked cairn composition. Suspended from a structured brass collar, the piece sits close to the neckline with the stones held firmly at its center.

Cairn II is an original, one-of-a-kind elemental artifact. As with every piece in the Cairn Collection, its exact composition is determined by the stones themselves and cannot be precisely duplicated.

Care

Natural metals may oxidize and deepen in color over time. This evolving patina is part of their character; if you prefer a brighter finish, gently polish the exposed metal with a soft jewelry cloth, avoiding the stones and intentionally darkened areas.
