A dark, branching line crosses the pale surface of this Parral dendrite arrowhead like a river course viewed from above—a wild trace within the stone.

The arrowhead form carries a sense of direction, protection, and purpose. Here, it is reimagined as a contemporary elemental artifact, bringing the natural geometry of a modern-knapped stone together with the warmth and texture of hand-worked brass.

The Stone

The Craft

The brass setting was individually cut, formed, and textured by hand. Its radiating edges frame the arrowhead without obscuring its irregular silhouette, creating a contrast between the pale stone and darkened golden metal.

Hand-formed tabs secure the arrowhead without drilling through the stone. A concealed bail allows the pendant to rest directly on a slender brass collar, keeping the silhouette clean and allowing the stone to remain the focal point.

Wild Trace is an original, one-of-a-kind Artisana Designs piece and part of an evolving series built around modern-knapped arrowheads and hand-worked metal. Future pieces may revisit this form, but each will take its identity from the markings, shape, and character of the individual stone.

Care

Natural metals may oxidize and deepen in color over time. This evolving patina is part of their character; if you prefer a brighter finish, gently polish the exposed metal with a soft jewelry cloth, avoiding the stone and intentionally darkened areas.
